Architect Membership: Individuals with an architectural license from a US licensing authority are eligible for Architect membership.
2025 Architect Membership Application
Associate membership is open to individuals who have a professional degree in architecture, work under the supervision of an architect, are enrolled in AXP, or are a faculty member in a university program in architecture.
2025 Associate Membership Application
International Associate Membership: Individuals who have an architecture license or equivalent from a non-US licensing authority are eligible for International Associate membership.
2025 Intl. Assoc. Membership Application
Allied Membership: Those with established professional reputations who are registered to practice their professions where such requirements exist, or persons who are employed outside of architectural practice but are involved in positions allied to the field of architecture. Individual Allied members may include engineers, planners, landscape architects, sculptors, muralists, artists, and others in government, education, journalism, manufacturing, industry and/or other fields allied to architecture. National Allied membership is at the national level only.

Associate New Grad membership (NAAB): is open to individuals who have a professional degree in architecture. NAAB degree holders only.
2025 New Graduate Application (NAAB)
Associate New Grad membership (Non-NAAB): is open to individuals who have a professional degree in architecture. Non-NAAB degree holders only.
